About Our Founder: Prof. Dr. Farouk El Kadi
• Graduated 1959 from Ain-Shams University, Faculty of Engineering, with excellence degree.
• On the Year 1959, obtained the Prize of Science Feast for his excellence
• Appointed upon graduation as an assistant in the Civil Engineering Department
• 1961 sent on a mission to Aachen, Germany to obtain his Ph.D., and obtained his degree in the subject of Soil and Foundation Engineering, in the theme of interaction between raft foundations and Soil structure interaction in 1967.
• Appointed as lecturer at structural Engineering Department upon his return from abroad in 1969 and has been teaching the subject of soil and foundation engineering since then. Promoted in the University until he became Professor at structural Engineering Department and still working with the same department in the Faculty as Professor of Soil and Foundation Engineering up to the present.
• During his work in the faculty, he conducted several researches in addition to participation in many local and international scientific conferences. Also supervised on many Master and Ph.D. dissertations.
• As to practical activity, he founded and established Nile Engineering Consulting Office "NECB" in 1969 upon his return from Germany.
